|We originally built our wall in 2014 but we expanded from our attic to our basement this past year.

Did anything in particular inspire your wall design?
When we built our original wall we basses it in the natural angles of the room. We re did our wall wall when our local climbing gym redid their walls, when they did this that gyms manager gave us the old walls for free.
What was the most difficult aspect of the design and build?
The most difficult part of the process was putting up the 1000 pound walls.
What would you do differently?
I would have built a slab wall, I decided to build a vert instead but I find myself regretting it.
What is your favorite aspect?
I love the ability to set my weaknesses. When your at the gym you are subject to whatever the setters put together but on a home walk the power is in your hands.
Any words of wisdom to aspiring homewallers?
Don’t undervalue the power of slab. When most people build a home wall they build a 45 but slab or vertical walls give you the most freedom.
